18 rows ·  · These Regulations commence on the day after they are registered. 3 Road transport Registered: 05 Jul This Regulation may be cited as the Heavy Vehicle (Fatigue Management) National Regulation. 2 Commencement This Regulation commences in a participating jurisdiction on the day on which Chapter 6 of the Law commences in that jurisdiction. Note— In this Regulation, a reference to ‘the Law’ is a reference to the Heavy Vehicle National Law. In addition to the general duty to not drive a fatigue-regulated heavy vehicle on a road while fatigued, drivers must comply with certain maximum work and minimum rest limits.
